Jennifer Lawrence won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in Comedy/Musical for her role in Joy. Here is the first look and pictures will come soon…

Paramount Pictures said this morning that Jennifer Lawrence indeed will star in an untitled film directed by Darren Aronofsky. Scott Franklin and Ari Handel of Protozoa will produce the pic, about a couple whose relationship is tested when uninvited guests arrive at their home, disrupting their tranquil existence. The studio is eyeing a 2017 release. Deadline

I am beyond grateful and humbled by this nomination. I feel incredibly honored to be recognized among the other amazing women in this category. Joy is an incredibly inspiring story about an ordinary woman who does extraordinary things. For me, working with David O. Russell has been nothing short of extraordinary, and I share this nomination with him as well as our incredible supporting cast. I could not be more proud to be a part of this film and thankful to the producers and Fox for their unyielding support.

The actress speaks out about the backlash following Jen’s treatment of a Golden Globes reporter.

Earlier this week, Jennifer Lawrence came under fire for calling out a South American reporter for using his phone in the Golden Globes press room. “You can’t live your whole life behind your phone, bro,” she told him. “You gotta live in the moment.”
And whether she was joking or not, people were quick to criticize her, saying that Lawrence failed to realize that the reporter could’ve just been reading questions from his phone or using Google translate.
And while Jen has remained silent about the incident, Anne Hathaway hasn’t. The actress, who’s also been the target of Internet haterade, posted a defense of Jen on her Facebook this afternoon. “Let’s not continue the sad but common practice of building people—especially women—up just to viciously tear them down when we perceive them to have misstepped,” she wrote.
The message, in its entirety:

Dear the Internet, It’s become pretty clear that the Jennifer Lawrence “scolding” was taken out of context and that she was dryly joking with a journalist who was indeed using his phone to take photos of her.Let’s not continue the sad but common practice of building people – especially women- up just to viciously tear them down when we perceive them to have misstepped. Jennifer is a beautiful, talented, wildly successful, popular, FOUR TIME OSCAR NOMINATED young woman. Please let us not punish her for these things. Sincerely, A J-Law fan #supportstrongwomen‬ ‪#imwithher‬ ‪#‎whycantwegiveloveonemorechance‬
